this is the just the bottom 1/2 of my tree. LOL
Usually I do purple & white , but wanted to change it up this year & went with red & white, If you notice my stand is gold, but we dont cover it , its a revolcing tree , & plus the gifts cover it all up..  
oh & to the orig poster, the ribbon has to have that wire in it for you to make the ribbon hand down from the tree, if you bend it like a accordian it should work,, Image Attachment(s):

Thanks - but the credit belongs to Michael's (the craft store) I knew I wanted one so I went and got the ribbon and brought it up to the floral counter...explained what I wanted and they made it for me.
