Post Partum Hair Loss
DD is 4 months old and my hair has recently started falling out all over the place in clumps over the past few weeks. Has this happened to anyone? When will this stop?

I'm 4 months PP too...it started at like 3.5months for me...I hope it stops soon!

Completely normal... but it is one of the things nobody tells you about when you are pregnant!
It's because normally, we shed hair every day. When we are pregnant, we don't shed our hair anymore because of the hormones (that's why a lot of people think their hair is thicker)
Then, after the baby and the hormones start to go away, all that hair that you should have shed for over 9 months starts coming out all at once! It will probably last a couple months but it will eventually stop.

yup me too!! im 16 weeks PP and it started 2 weeks ago. I chopped 4 inches off on Saturday because i was miserable. My stylist said to take my vitamins and use hair loss shampoo to help a little.

Might have to try the hair loss shampoo- this is crazy! If this is going to go on for 9 months, I am going to go INSANE. I am constantly cleaning hair, dd is constantly havingmy hair all over her . . . .

yessss it is terrible! Mine seemed to last for about 6 + months and then my dr recommended to take a vitamin and I did and it helped a lot

It's really ridiculous, it's all over everything! I HATE it. I've been taking vitamins too since i'm BF-ing and it hasn't helped.
