Post C-Section Heartburn/Acid Reflux
I had an emergency c-section for my 2nd DS back in December.
The last week or two I have been having almost constant heartburn. Now my throat feels sore and i feel like I am getting some reflux after I eat.
Has anyone else experienced this after a c-section? I never experienced heartburn or reflux til I became pregnant.
And yes, I have an appointment with my doctor.
Thanks

I did not have it. I hate it bad during my pregnancy but the minute I gave birth that went away.

Definitely no heartburn after my c-section. I had it awful when I was pregnant but once the baby was out, no more heartburn.
I'm not sure that the heartburn would be related to the c-section. Are you taking anything to relieve it? If you're getting a sore throat, the acid is bad. You need to neutralize it with tums, pepcid, zantac, etc. You want to be careful you don't get an ulcer.

Thanks ladies! I've been taking tums, but I need to pick up a better antiacid.
Hopefully this goes away soon. It's quite uncomfortable.

Please have your gall bladder checked. You may have developed gall stones.
