possible breast infection
i woke up with terrible pain in just my right breast and i can't lift my arm up. now i have the chills and my whole body aches. i have a call into my dr but they don't open till 9. has anyone ever experienced this? i pumped for 35 mins after waking up and that didn't help the pain.

sounds like it could be mastitis  try to see your doc ASAP!

That definitely sounds like mastitis. My dr prescribed antibiotics that I had to take 4 times a day for a week. They made me feel much better after 1 day. Definitely talk to your dr as soon as they open.

definetly sounds like mastitas - take a hot shower and massage the breast- and ask for help today - because after you see a doctor -you should try and use a hot compress before each nursing session

thank u ladies!! i went this morning and thankfully i did since i had a 101.5 fever. the diagnosis was mestatis

i agree! i described it to my sister as labor of the boob!!
feeling a lil better today. the pain is still there but at least the fever, body aches and chills are gone.
