He is extremely Patriotic!
Big supporter of the Police and Military.
He is not a politician and doesn't ********. He is straight to the point (almost to a fault) but the greatest thing is that he doesn't really give a crap!
He does have foresight and has developed parts of NYC that many developers wouldn't.
When the skating rink in Central Park was going to be closed, he stepped in and bought it.
He has raised an incredible family of strong men and women who as teenagers and young adults were not in the news for doing bad things.
He employs more women then other fortune 500s do.
He is much more socially liberal then people think. He is not really a Republican.
He isn't accepting a salary as the president. Well, $1.00...
I am hopeful. I am not afraid.

Wasn't this about post on the forum supposed to about positive things? Yet you have some people who can't go about their daily life without saying something negative. As stated above, there are plenty of other posts that are mainly about bashing the president

I kind of see where you're coming from and agree with you. I'm having a hard time trying to say positive things about someone who said such hateful things. He's said nasty things about women, said sexual assault was locker-room talk, said women should be punished if they have terminations, etc.
I'm going to go with a guess that we have women on these forums that have been assaulted or gone through terminations. What about those women and respect for them? I can only imagine that threads like this trigger them.

Anything can trigger anyone at any point. If that was the case, nobody could say anything without triggering someone, no? Point was, this was supposed to be a positive spot for people who supported him and for those who didn't but want to. Not just another thread saying the same shit over and over again. We get it. Most of LIF hate him. Check.

If someone starts a thread on the parenting board about why breastfeeding is so great, I just don't post on it because I never breastfed. I don't go on there and say- OMG breasteeding is just so overrated and I had no desire to do it because A, B C and D.

Amen!! I think people get real ballsy when they are behind a computer. Love to see if they are so openly expressive with their hate in their daily life.

I agree with this statement. There are many things I disagree with on this thread, but I haven't said anything in this thread about them. I either ignore the post, or start a new thread to address the topic. I open this thread once in a while to see what's being posted, but I don't respond negatively to anything being said.
It's easy enough to start a new thread, and you can even reference which post on here you want to disagree with.
By starting a new thread, it keeps this thread on topic, and it can bring more attention to what you want to disagree with.

I understand triggers, TYVM.
I'm just saying respect was brought up and it's a two-way street. It's mind boggling to me that we have a positive thread for Trump on this board of mostly women. To me, having an opinion about someone like Trump isn't having an opinion. It borders on someone supporting hate.
Not that I'm equating Trump to Hitler, but there are many undeniable parallels. It's like if someone made a post that said, yeah Hitler said anti-Semitic things, but he did great things for Germany (NOT MY OPINION, BTW). Can you imagine the uproar? People would speak up, which is what's happening here. And I don't blame them.
