Pool Exercises?
Any recommendations of workouts to do in the pool (besides the obvious swimming)? Are there any websites out there that can give me some ideas to make my pool time as productive as possible? TIA!

Re: Pool Exercises?
Many town pools hold classes called aquarobics. Basically aerobics in the pool.

Re: Pool Exercises?
I used to teach deep water aerobics. If you are comfy in the deep end you can go out there on a noodle or with a float belt, or with only your body. Then you can water walk and do all kinds of exercises to tone your muscles.
If you are looking to lose weight, make sure you get your heartrate up. It is too easy to stay afloat without getting your heartrate up. You can do 'running sprints' where you literally look like you are running in the water.

Re: Pool Exercises?
I do laps and I change up the strokes. When I first start in the summer I do about 10 laps, each day I increase by 2-3 laps. In no time I'm up to 20 laps and then so sprints for 5-10 minutes.
I can't wait for the summer.
I have to go to the gym that has a pool.
