Pool Bathroom ideas

We need to remodel our pool bathroom. It's not a huge room, but enough for a long sink and would need some closet or storage to keep pool towels or pool stuff.

Thinking of half tile. I am just so bad at this. THe bathroom has a door that leads outside so we want to keep a cute "pool" theme.

Any vanity to recommend? Something reasonable.

Thanks!

He about a blue octagon floor tile and white subway tile on the walks, half way up. And I would probably go with a simp stock vanity from Lowes or Home Depot. It may get water damage ver the years so I wouldn't bother with a big investment or custom piece.

I agree re: the sink/vanity, and color scheme. But I personally wouldn't do small vintage octagon & then subway tiles w/ a pool and towels and little kids - WAY too many grout lines to deal with

I think you're better off w/ large tile on both the walls & floor.

Thanks. That's what we are thinking too. Looking at large tile with some cap or smaller long, thin tile on top with a little blue to bring it together. If that makes sense. Need to just look at vanities with a linen closet with shelves.
We did the other downstairs bathroom more formal which is why I want the pool bath more fun.

Re: Pool Bathroom ideas

I stand behind my original idea. If you go with a bigger tile on the floor there will be more risk of slipping. With more grout lines you lower that risk.

We may keep the same tile floor, which is nice and you don't slip. Just going to do half tile on the wall then paint. Maybe a small tile above.

The people before I made the laundry room into a pool bath with a door to the deck. Not a huge room, but a decent size. Mostly the kids use that bathroom for some reason. LOL
