Tough call, since DW is a great cook. As long as the turkey is brined overnight, so it's moist and juicy, I love the turkey. If it's not brined, then turkey is often too dry.
DW makes a stuffing with 2lbs of sausage.... . It's hard not to eat just that for the entire meal....

I really do like turkey, but in general in any meal, I always prefer the sides over the protein.

100% the sides.
In fact majority of my family prefer the sides, that results in a turkey sitting in my moms fridge until she has no chocie but to get rid of it.
I think this year she may not even bother with Turkey because of having to deal with it after the fact.

Sides! stuffing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and creamed pearl onions...I cannot wait for Thursday! Although I am on weight watchers and I calculated points for these already...um, not good.

My aunt makes the best sides..yummmm...I rarely even take turkey  sometimes a small piece just so I han have a reason to eat the cranberry sauce

Although, this year, my mom is making a standing rib roast so that will be just fine in my eyes
