My niece is Ciara - the Irish spelling pro. Kira. It means "fair-haired". Ciaran (Kieran) is the male version.

I like Krista Nicole or Kristen Nicole.
I always think of Kieran as a boys name, sorry.
I do too, that's why I didn't put it in the poll. DH is obsessed with that name though. I was looking for back-up on this one.

There's nothing wrong with giving a girl a boy-ish name, ahem, like, for example, let's say... uhh, "Alex"

No, I actually love girlie names that are abbreviated to become unisex names -- like Samantha (Sam), Alexandra (Alex) -- Remember that was on our list til you stole it -- . I just don't like girl's names that ARE boy's names! Thanks for voting everyone!
