PMS & Emotions

So, last month I experienced high anxiety and a little sadness, which wasn't that bad (anxiety I am used to, so if it increases, I can typically control it). However, this month my emotions the last week have been so out of wack, I can't take it if this is what it's going to be like every month. I feel like I am FINALLY coming down (AF due on Saturday, all BFNs so far). I have cried about 9 times over the last week at the drop of a dime, for no apparent reason, I've snapped at my DH like I never have before (except when I really was preggo, that ended in mc) again for no reason... I feel like the only reason why I feel good right now is b/c DH got some amazing news yesterday (that he FINALLY got the job offer & start date for the new job he's been interviewing and has had in progress for a year)...

Anyone else get really REALLY bad emotional PMS symptoms like this? I don't ever remember getting THIS bad before I was on the pill, definitely not while I was on it, and not in the cycles after my mc and before I TTC. Any thoughts?

Re: PMS & Emotions

Last month I had awful mood swings and cramps but I blame it on the clomid and trigger shot because normally I am not that emotional.

Maybe you are just stessing yourself out because now you are TTC and that is always on your mind.

That's the thing, it really isn't. I have so many other things that occupy my time, I have a cruise I'm leaving for this Saturday (woohoo!!!). And all of it's gone now, every since mood swing is GONE. AF not due until Saturday. Normally, in the past, when I had PMS mood swings (which were NEVER like this, they might have been more along the lines of like cranky and wanting some ice cream) they were always just the few days right before AF came... and would never go away until after she showed.

Seriously! I was fine last night, I was fine this morning... now everything is just getting to me - I feel like crying, I feel like hating the world, I swear every little thing is pissing me off.

I have NEVER been like this ever...

PMS & Emotions

I just called my doctor's office a little bit ago. I really just need to know if there is anything I can take because it was unbearable this month. I'm better now, but it was a bunch of terrible horrible no good very bad days (yes I quoted that book from childhood). Does anyone know of anything that we can take that is safe during pregnancy, just in case?

Re: PMS & Emotions

I am pretty holistic and I know that acupuncture and change in diet can help hormonal fluctuations a great deal. I see a wonderful acu who specializes in women's health if you want any info.
