please tell me I tested too early and tell me to stop!
Ok, I just had to do it....I tested this morning w/ fmu on a dollar tree test. I swear I saw a second line, but it was faint, actually, not just faint, but like a shadow that you would have to look in extreme light at an angle. Basically, I think I was seeing things, it was 4:45am after all. Anyway, I am about 10dpo and am of course disappointed and am trying to tell myself maybe I tested too early?? Shouldn't dollar tree tests show a positive at this point...arggggghhh, I need to have DH hide my tests. I have been so obsessed lately that I am thinking of trying to find the most sensitive test out there and go buy it!! I was not like this before my m/c, I think I'm losing my mind now
Bottom line, I think I missed this month, but just wanted input.

You may be testing too early. I had tested 5 days prior to AF and got a BFN. I tested the day she was due and the day after. Both times BFP.

I have gotten lines that look how you described- like a shadow or a dent. They are evaporation lines, unfortunately.

10 days is REALLY early. Look at this chart.It is the percentage of women who get BFP's by when they test.
So it is very early! Also, if you have to "tilt" the stick or squint to see the line, then it isn't a real line. Just wait a little longer!

Thanks - this is helpful; I think it's so confusing b/c you hear of women getting bfps at 8 dpo. Every site will tell you something different!

My DH made me test last night and of course we got a BFN.
I REFUSE to test again until my AF is due.
It is way too early to tell.
