Please sign this petition to ban Atlanta Falcons player Michael Vick from the NFL for Dog fighting and Animal Cruelty
There is a petition that I encourage you to sign, to have Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons banned from the NFL. Michael Vick was indicted on charges for sponsoring a dog fighting ring in Atlanta. I feel the name of his operation, “Bad Newz Kennels” says it all. Below you will find the story on msnbc.com.

I am not saying that I think what he has done is wrong - it is sick & cruel. He should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. However, I don't understand why the NFL should ban him for life? Only because if he is found guilty he should be in jail and wouldn't have to worry about playing pro ball. Not to mention what about the pro athletes who have committed other horrific crimes including murder, rape, and domestic violence. Shouldn't they all be banned as well?

I think it does not need to be said that if he is found innocent, he will not be banned....where did anyone say he was guilty?

The nature of the petition.
Nowhere does it say IF Vick is found guilty ban him.
It's saying ban him now.
