Please send me some prayers. 2nd UPDATE
I thought I was having a mc, maybe I still am...i don't know. Maybe its not over......please say a prayer.
I have been having brown spotting since yesterday, today not spotting, just some brown and a little red when I wipe, but nothing on the pad. I called the Dr, she called in a script for progesterone and said take it easy. My BIL picked up DS so I could rest. I guess there is still some hope.
If you can share any experience you have with this i'd greatly appreciate it.

UPDATE: fast forward 3 hours, still nothing on the liner, next to nothing when I wipe......don't know if its from the gel being "in there" (sorry tmi) or what. Don't know what to think....going crazy. Don't know when i'll know either. Thanks for your prayers and please keep them coming.

what i can share is what my doctor told me when I told her that i had 3 instances of spotting in the first few weeks..
to quote her, 'some women just flat out BLEED during pregnancy. why? i have no idea in the world, but some women just DO. On the same wavelength, some people miscarry and do not shed an ounce of blood. there is no rhyme or reason to why our bodies do what they do.'
try to keep some faith and good thoughts going. i know it's harder than anything else in the world, but you CAN do this.

Just rest and relax. I had a similar situation in the beginning and went to the ER and after lots of tests(which they said everything was ok) I was just told to drink plenty of fluids and relax.

Most importantly stay calm and relax.... I had 2 pretty bad instances of actual bleeding at 7 weeks and again at 10 weeks. I actually felt a gush of something come out, went to the bathroom and my underwear were covered in bright red blood. Talk about panicking. It would slow up and then turn brown. Baby is fine. My gf has a lot of brown staining and she is 9 weeks. I def. think it's more common than you think.

hey i responded on the ttc board. i had spotting weeks 10w till 12w andthe baby was okay. just go to the dr on monday and if it gets bad go to the er praying for u

how early into the pregnancy are you?
spotting really can be a number of things and doesnt necessarily mean miscarriage.
good news that its stopping!
ETA: my grandmother had a period for the 9 months she was pregnant with my uncle..her first born.
So really...our bodies are so mysterious!

i spotted brown discharge all of week 5 and was so worried i was miscarrying! i called the dr and they said as long as its brown not to worry. as soon as week 6 hit it completely stopped. it was so bizarre! but the point is, it aint over till its over! so put your feet up and try your hardest to relax!

I think a lot of women spot in the beginning and it doesn't always mean bad things. Good luck!
