After 3 unsuccessful cycles on Clomid with my GYN, it's time to move on. Can anyone recommend their RE?
TIA

Which insurance do you have? I have gone to rsny and nsuh...no complaints really about either but I would interview a few to see which one you like the best...also check the SART ratings as well

I have HIP Prime. What are SART ratings and how do you check them? Thanks!

This is the website for SART http://www.sart.org/find_frm.html

I had HIP as well...if you go on the website you can find out which RE's you can go to and what type of coverage you have...I would think rsny and li-ivf are covered...it really depends on where you want to go get your monitoring as well since they usually only have morning monitoring...good luck...fm me if you have any questions

Davis or Spandorfer at Cornell: brilliant, will know your history ahead of the consult, access to cutting-edge protocols invented at Cornell and not yet adopted by local clinics.

Good luck!

i saw Dr. Brenner at LI IVF and i loved them! The nurses and other staff members were all kind, never had a long wait, convenient monitoring hours and even though i didnt see my RE that often after our initial visit he was always available by phone.

We did 1 IUI w/ clomid and 2 IVF cycles with them, i got pregnant on my 2nd IVF with Chat Icon Chat Icon

are you in the city? If so, I would highly recommend Dr. Lawrence Grunfeld. He's won award after award in his field and works with RMA Associates. They have several location although I only went to the one on Madison Avenue.

Re: Please recommend your RE

I have a whole history of issues, my RE did one month of extensive testing on both of us, and two months later, I got pregnant. With medical intervention, but no IUI or IVF. I just found out last night, still in shock. We have been trying for 2 years. Anyway, my doctor is Dr. Mack in Massapequa, he is amazing.

Thank you all for the recommendations! Unfortunately we do not have out of network coverage. After opening up to my SIL I found out that both of her babies were from IUI done by Dr. Chu at NS Center for Reproduction. She takes my insurance, so we decided to start there. I have a consult in 2 weeks, so hopefully I will like her.

I loved her, though many people think she's too serious. I thought she was great and i joked with her all of the time.
You'll be monitored by any one of them on duty there- so you'll meet them all. I love the fact that I was seen by a DR every time, not a technician. They are friendly and warm and the nurses couldn't be nicer! I am 24 weeks with Chat Icon Chat Icon !
