Please recommend your RE

Hi Ladies,

After I posted yesterday about having a terrible experience at my OB, I decided to take your advice and go see a RE for introductory testing.

I would prefer someone with late hours and/or weekends since I work in the city, takes insurance and has decent bed side manner since that is why I was so upset with my OB being ridiculously insensitive about my weight.

Any info is great. Thanks so much!

dr. B but his hours arent that convenient during the week if you work in the city. he does have saturday hours though and he has an office on 57th and Lex that he is at a few times a month.
the bedside manner is worth EVERY bit of the inconvenience (take it from someone who saw him for a year and did IVF with him).

I highly recommend Dr Trivax at RSofNY in Mineola - he's incredibly nice, and i've heard good things about most of the other dr's that are there as well.

They don't do late hours, but they do have very early morning appointments (start at 6:30 a.m.) so you can go in and be out and still get into the city. The office is right next to the Mineola train station so you can grab the train there if you need to also. When i go in for bloodwork and sonos, i'll get a 7:00 appointment, am out by 7:45 and make it back to Baldwin for my regular 8:29 train.

They are also open 7 days a week, 364 days a year (not xmas) for procedures and everything is usually done on site, except for some additional testing you may need.

For ME, the convenience of the office location and hours and the friendliness of the staff helped me immensely in this whole process. When you have to go to the dr 3 days a week (which can happen during certain monitoring cycles) - the office hours make a huge difference in helping keep the rest of your life stress free. Being late to work every day is NOT an option for me either.

Good luck in your search!!
