We are closing on our house in Port Washington in 3 weeks! Can't wait to move there!

For &700-$750 you should be able to find something nice in Port Washington. I highly recommend it--we're moving there soon, and I love the town. It is a great commute.
You'll find less in Manhasset and Great Neck for that price. There are houses, but the condition will be worse than a home for the same price in Port.
Roslyn and Rosyln Hts. are really nice also, but the train line sucks. You would need to drive to another station, and I don't know how parking is at some nearby.
Syosset is nice too--we were considering it, but in the end, we liked Port Wash. better.
