I'm glad he's home and will be OK. I know you guys are upset, but the main thing is that it wasn't life threatening and he'll be fine.

I am so sorry you had to go through. I am glad he made it through surgery ok!
ETA: Thank you for sharing your story. Many of us on here have boys and I know I had NO idea something like this could happen...I have never even heard of it. It is scary that he had none of the usual symtpoms...I would have chopped up him being a little red from the antibiotics as well.
