Please leave me alone.
I have a tennant that lives upstairs. Shes one of those really chatty ladies that if you happen to run into her, your stuck there talking to her for what seems like hours. Seriously.. She is ALWAYS outside smoking cigarettes so when I leave for work, she catches me.. when I come home.. Shes THERE!!! When I walk my dog, she stops me to have a conversation & tries to push me to mate her dog with mine.
I am in no means an unfriendly person. I love socializing, but seriously, everytime I walk out of my house, she hounds me. She probably thinks Im rude because Im always cutting her conversations short (or at least I try), but I cant take it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shes so annoying!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean. our neighbor downstairs is a very sweet old lady, but she's VERY chatty! sometimes when I see her pull in and I'm on my way out, I wait around until she's in her apt. that is so mean

I have the same problem - with my landlord!!!! And to boot, I cant understand 75% of what she is saying, she has such a thick Italian accent. I like her but when I get home from work I want to get home, not stand outside and chat!

I have neighbors like this. The guy bothers DH and the woman talks to me forever. I have pretended to be on my cell phone when they are outside so as to avoid talking to them... maybe you can try that?

Ugh I hear ya. When DH and I lived in our apartment we would always get stopped by this little old lady. She was sweet but you knew once you were stopped that was it. You were in for a good 20-30 minute conversation.
I always felt bad for her, she lived alone and her daughter would visit her occasionally. I think she was just lonely.

Oh yeah I had one of those, I would take my cell phone wit me and have DH call me if he heard us talking for then 5 mins. Now she totally hates me (which is perfectly fine with me) because I complained about her and her DH and their constant WW3.
