Please help me decide (pics added)
I ordered a personalized first birthday outfit for DD , and bought another dress for half the price. I really like the whole idea of it being personalized but, what will I do with it after she's outgrown it? The other dress is also cute, and half the price and I can give it to someone else down the
I really can't decide.
The personalized outfit can be cancelled. The vendor is just waiting to hear from me, and the other dress can also be returned. It's just a matter of deciding. I don't want to keep both. Image Attachment(s):

Please help me decide
Personally, i'm a cheap-a$$ so i'd go with the cheaper dress, especially if i truly like both dresses equally.
Otherwise, the price difference would be the deciding factor (for $10, the personalized dress is worth it ... for $50 more, it's not).
Oh, and don't let the whole "give it to somebody else" thing be a factor. There's ALWAYS somebody who will take it, personalized or not

I agree with above but I don't care for personalized things too much (yes I have stuff) only because its so very temporary. We have one now that's a T shirt I got her for Disney, says AJ and 5 well girl is gonna have to get a lot of wear out of it for the next few months.
Sorry but Id go for the cheaper one. Especially half price and you like it.

I like the personalized one better, but I'd go with the cheaper one if the difference was $20 or more.

The difference is about $25, and it's seems like a lot.
I'm not crazy about the personalized idea either but it looks cute in pics. Maybe I'll find someone with DD's (Arielle) name to give it to
But maybe I'll take advice and go with the cheaper one

If you like the second one just as much, then go for it. Personally, the second dress is too much for me with ruffles on both the top and the bottom, so I prefer the personalized one.

Cost aside I like the first one better. The second one is too much for me. She will only be 1 once and it's special. Not like you're buying her expensive outfits to wear every day.

This, those hand made tutu's are usually cheaply made and your talking a gerber onesie with some stitching on it...I love #2...go with that! Plus you wont feel bad when she gets cake or something all over.

Ita!!! I did a personalized outfit for DD for her first and 2nd bdays. For her 3rd, I did a shirt with a 3, no name though. It's fun. I keep the shirts in her memory box and let her play dress up with the tutus/skirts.

i ordered personalized shirts for DS for his first and second birthdays. i think they are very cute and love seeing him in pics wearing them. i also hold onto them with a few other special pieces from his birthday (1st birthday candle, etc).

Love the first one and agree with above... in the grans scheme of party costs is $25 really that huge a difference?
I dont personally care for the 2nd dress. Too much ruffles and a bit over the top for my taste.

I'm not a fan of personalized things for the reason you listed - you can't pass it down. So to me it's a waste of money for a few pictures.
Plus, I think the first one is so common - you see it on every other child. I like the second one more.

I like the personalized one better. I get that the other one can get more use if it's not personalized but will you honestly use it again?
Can the top one be made with just her name and no "1" so,that she can weta it again? That would be the best of both worlds I think.
