Please Help - Filing Report w-police in Mexico; UPDATE 11/17
i´ll explain when i return - but has anyone filed a police report in Mexico for any reason (specifically theft or robbery) - please FM me.
Update -
So I'm finally back home and safe, and have never wanted to kiss the US soil so much!
My vacation in Mexico was basically a trip to he11 and back, and I am filing so many complaints across the board, that I'll post a new thread once I've put together everything.
To sum it up (very briefly):
- Arrived Monday - Spirit Airlines forced us to check our bags AT THE BOARDING GATE in NYC - we transferred in FL - friend didn't get her bag (and still hasn't)
- Tuesday - money & my blackberry stolen out of our room
- Wednesday - 6 other people staying at the hotel inform us that they too had money and other items stolen from their room; I call the police to come to the hotel to start an investigation (it's an inside job by the hotel)
- Thursday - the hotel staff is accusing all those who had items taken from them as drunks!
- Friday - we come home; 4 hour delay into LGA!
soooo...the details will come soon, but for now - I need a VACATION!

not to look the other way on the theaft..did you lock your items in the safe?
Any hotel, i lock up stuff even if i leave the room for a few minutes..
