how long and how often does your 3mo nap? DD NEVER sleeps!!! it's unbelievable and not good for her. DS used to be a great napper at her age and i don't know if it's because i have to split my time between them now or what.
at this point i don't even know what's normal anymore since she doesn't seem to have her own rhythm.
and now with DD being so unbelievably sick, everything is even MORE thrown off

I don't even know anymore.
Yesterday at daycare he did 2 45 minute naps and one, one hour.
Today for my mom...he did an hour and half this morning, and hour in the afternoon and almost 2 hours mid afternoon, then I get home and he only napped for like 20 minutes (which is fine b/c I want to see if I could ever cut out his nighttime nap).
so he's all over the place but I feel is getting better this week.
this is coming from the child who would nap for a half hour at a time up until this week.

Re: please help---at 3 months old, how long and how often are DC's naps?
My DS has been pretty consistent with his naps from 3 months, he's 4 months now.
He takes a 1.5 hour nap in the morning and usually a 2+hour nap in the afternoon. When we are lucky, he'll take a cat nap in the evening which he really needs bc he gets really cranky.
But, every once in a while he decides to change things up and will only take 40 minute naps which just makes for some really long days.
Do you swaddle your DC? My DS is no longer swaddled at night but he loves to be swaddled for naps. As soon as we swaddle him for his morning nap, he's out. Maybe trying to establish some sort of nap routine would help. Maybe read a book before nap time?
