Plants that attract butterflies?
I was looking to plant one in my garden. I just lost a friend who loved butterflies and wanted to plant one in her memory

Re: Plants that attract butterflies?
We have so many in our backyard. We have a butterfly bush, and other kinds of flowers. I think they are attracted to sweet smelling flowers.

Re: Plants that attract butterflies?
There are lots, off the top of my head:
Coneflowers (Echinacea)
Lantana
Daylillies
Butterfly Bush
Butterfly Weed
Bee Balm
Asters
Yarrow
Globe Thistle
I've noticed more bees in our yard since planting some of these.
