they are amazing and the qulaity is awesome. plus the people who work there are very helpful, particularly if you, like us, are new to the whole gardening thing.... we first bought from them about a month ago but i decided i wanted more plants so yesterday, dh and i went back - while in other stores the plants are dying out, ours still look great and the ones there looked heartier than what we saw the last time (which was nice) plus are still budding so we get to enjoy the flowers, its a bit off the beaten path but so cheap too....flats are 6.95 for impatients, 7.95 for others, and all perenials are 2 for $12!!!! (yes, 2 for 12 - we stopped at lowes for some mulch and other odds and ends yesterday and saw smaller versions of what we got for 2/$12 - for $14 each and almost pased out!) i am talking hostas, daisy things, silvia (sp?), azaelas (smaller but will grow!), everything.....its amazing! they are called gabrielsens countyr farm plants and are in jamesport, they have a perennial field and a large open table section too of everything you wold want...

i grabbed their card but the address is not so clear....they are about 20 minutes past the tanger outlets, we took the 25a bypass and then right before it splits by the outlets to 495 or cr 85, took cr 85 straight, which later turns back in 25.....i have their phone no if you want to call for directions or the address (631.722.3259)...we only found them b/c a friend of fil's goes every year and took my fil who took us last month.....plus they have a cow in a yard next door too, which is neat...it seems like a long drive to some i am sure, but is worth it, and is really a nice trip with plenty of cutesy farmy things to see, the traffic isn't so bad either....

i know i rarely recommend places on here, but fell in love - what we got for $40 bucks yesterday is incredible.....Chat Icon
