Planning first birthday...help!
Where can I go in Nassau for CHEAP balloons, plates, decorations...for a party for 100 people?

What I did with my first son, and I will do with my second son is to get regular colored plates, napkins, and cups.
My first son had a Backyardigan theme - Target had cheap plates and napkins on sale. They have them out now also.
We did the theme with the balloons and the decorations. It was less money to get just colored plates versus character ones.
With so many people I tried to cut corners where I could.

ITA! I am doing the same thing for Landon's ELmo party. I got solid red plates, napkins, cups... and some Elmo themed plates and napkins for the kids from Dollar Tree.
Got a helium tank with multicolored balloons and will get some Elmo face balloons from Party City.

I did the same for my DS 1st birthday and my babies christening. I bought white plates, napkins, cups at BJ's for the christening. For DS' birthday parties I always just get a solid color that matches the theme.
