planning a retirement party
i volunteered to help plan a retirement party for a college prof of mine. the other teachers are involved also. we haven't been given a budget yet but are being asked to weigh in on certain items
has anyone been involved in anything similar? frustrations?? advice??

PLanning a party with a large group can be very frustrating. My opinion... sit back and let someone else take charge. Decide on your personal budget and stick to it.
I all but lost my mind when helping plan a party with a group. I will never do that again

oh boy i guess im in for it.
they haven't told us how much we have to spend on the whole event, but want us to decide on items like a dj. how can i decide without a budget?? no one else has replied to the email, so i guess they're all taking your advice and sitting back i think i will too thank you
