Placenta Previa BTDT moms...

I am 17.5 weeks and the placenta seems to be moving lower and lower over my cervix and not moving up as the baby grows like the OB thought it would. If yours didn't move by 24-28 weeks...when did they schedule you for a c-section?

I had it with DC#2, they checked me again at 32 weeks. At my Level II it was still full previa, but by 32 weeks it had moved close to 2cm away. While my OB was agreeable to allow me to go natrual, the high risk Drs. did not feel comfortable due to my age, and the risk of major bleeding, so at 35 weeks, my OB scheduled my c-section.

Mine finally moved at 32 weeks- if it hadn't they said that I would have still gone for a last sono at 34 weeks before they scheduled it

I hope it moves up!

My C-section was scheduled at around 34 weeks but at 37 weeks it all of a sudden moved and I was able to have natural birth even after my high risk doctors telling me that once your that far into your pregnancy there is no way it will move back.

ETA I still did hemmorage during labor and birth but still dont know if that was the complete cause.

Mine moved, but my friends did not and she had a scheduled c/s at 34 weeks.
