Pity party for 1 over here!

Sorry everyone, just having a moment over here.

I am only 7 weeks and the morning sickness started a week ago.

I have been nauseous all day, every day. Throwing up every few days or so. Today it was really bad.

I am just having a very hard time dealing with DS, the house, work and being sick. All I want to do is curl up and go to sleep, but I can't.

With DS, I had morning sickness until 14 weeks so the thought of 7 more weeks of this is killing me. ... and I pray that it ends at that point because I know that it can last longer.

OK.. that's all from me... I just needed to get that out!

Try to be as proactive as possible. Find drinks you can drink to stay as hydrated as possible without making it worse ( most Women with nausea find Water to be the devil) ....Try Lemonade, Ginerale, 7 up and drink a LOT. Or add a TON of lemons to your water.

Try to eat something, anything as soon as you get up in the AM to get that stomach full. Even if its the worse time, any carbs will help. As soon as the stomach gets too empty the nausea will return. And then its too hard to eat.

Try smelling lemons, they are a natural anti emetic and I used to caryy them cut up in my a ziploc bag if I felt sick in
the car or out somewhere.

Try getting Ginger candies or Ginger snap cookies, the ginger will help and you might be able to handle something small like that.

im going on 14 weeks and i feel sick all the time. I have bad acid reflux that just makes me nuts. im so tired from work and commuting that im barely functioning when i get home.

I've forgotten what sex is b/c the nites are when the reflux/nausea is the worst and i cant even think about that.

SO i feel your pain....

we all do. hopefully we'l lbe turning a corner soon and feeling like humans again.

I'm sorry that you're feeling crummy...I hope that it will subside VERY SOON!!!

And you have a wonderful husband...I'm sure he doesn't mind having to pick up the slack. Please try and not be so hard on yourself.

Oh I feel your pain and I think I wrote the same exact post. It is so hard to be sick and take care of a toddler. My only piece of advice is to nap when he naps (not sure if you work or not) but that has been my saving grace and how I would get some energy to get through the rest of the day!

I have so much sympathy for you... After the morning sickness that I went through I am so afraid to have another child, because I don't know how I'd be able to care for my first if I had the sickness as bad the second time around.
