Pit Stains
I know I've posted this before, but seriously, what is with guys who have pitstains?

I don't think they use and anti-perspirant...just a deodorant.

 Well, though DH does not have the stains, anti-perspirants are too strong for his sensitive underarms  so he uses the ones that are ONLY deodorants...and they just CAN'T work so well!

I used to totally have a problem during my teens with sweaty pits. I had to wear a cotton smock to work amd my Mom ended up sewing a pit guard into them as I was soooo embarassed

I always wear an undershirt at work. Virtually eliminates all but the worst stains. Even as a guy, I don't like it. If I'm home cutting the grass, that's one thing, but at work, I do whatever I need to to prevent it.

So does my DH and he's a big guy who is always hot yet he never has pit stains (and only wears deodorant, not anti-perspirant).

some people (not just guys) sweat TOO much, and get stains. big deal. some people have too much flatulence. i'd rather see sweat, then smell farts!

speaking as a person who suffers from this, it's not a lack of hygeine or a lack of using the proper deodorant or antiperspirant
for me, i've tried everything - medically prescribed deodorants and antiperspirants.
you name it, ive tried it
i've had open dialogues with my doctor on this as well
i wear a heavy undershirt under my shirts and my regular shirts are usually thick as well
yet, it still happens
doctor said the only way to treat my case is to surgically remove my armpit sweat glands, which is not healthy and i won't do.
i try to cover it up as much as possible, but at this stage of my life, i just don't worry about it anymore.
we all have our cosmetic blemishes

Exactly. It's not done to gross anyone out, it's because the person has a problem that can't be controlled with a regular antiperspirant/deodorant. It's not done to offend anyone!!
