PIO reactions?
Just want to know if these reactions are normal/expected and if there's anything I can do about them.
1- One side (left) hurts 100x more than the right side. I have no idea why. The last time I did the PIO on the left side I was actually in TEARS, while on the right side I can barely feel it.
2- Red bumpy patches all over my behind
3- ITCHY. My behind is so itchy, it's actually keeping me up part of the night (how sad is that?). I have two knots - one is golfball size and one is egg-size, but both of the knots and the surrounding areas are extremely itchy!
Anything I can do about these?

Re: PIO reactions?
1- I never experienced one side hurting more than the other... but maybe you're more sensitive on one side
2- If I remember correctly, I did get a little rashy!!
3- YESSSSSSSS I WOULD GET REALLY ITCHY!! I remember I'd be teaching and try to scratch it behind my desk where nobody could see!! Good think I'm short!!
As far as those knots, do you use a heating pad after you do the injections? I found that helped tremendously. If I didn't use heat, I'd be paying for it the next few days

Thanks girl! I can always count on you to reply
The knots actually don't bother me. I use a heating pad for 45 minutes after each shot, but I still get horrible knots. I have NO pain whatsoever afterward though, so that's all that matters to me. It's just the itchy that is so annoying!

Between that and the vivelle patches, sometimes I'd go through my whole day thinking all I did that day was scraaaaaatch

Re: PIO reactions?
oh yeah! i do 2ccs pio during my 2ww.
unless you are having breathing etc issues.... i find that most have some sort of evil reaction.
one of my knots was soo bad once that dh thought he was going to have the needle break in half trying to get it in sigh...
as far as the itching goes...for me sometimes ice or cold compresses work better for me than heat...sorry you are going through this xoxo
