Pink eye - BTDT tips UPDATE
DS is on the drops as of midnight last night. Getting the drops in is a nightmare! he fights it tooth and nail! I'm afraid when DH goes to work tomorrow I'm going to have a rough time. any tips?
UPDATE:
so since 4x a day works out to be the same amount of bottles he gets I give him his drops before or after his bottle. This time, though, I decided to do it DURING his bottle so he would be less likely to fuss...it worked!! no screaming, no rolling / twisting / arching.

lay him on the floor and sit behind his head and use one arm to hold his arms down and be put the drops in as quick as you can!

DS started his drops on Friday. What a pain!!!
I started them without anyone else home and at 9 months pregnant, this was not easy. I sat on the floor, put DS's legs under mine and a pillow on his hands with my arm trying to hold down the pillow and then used my hands to pry open his eye. Holy moly!!!!!

Either pull his lower eyelid down to form a packet and just squeeze the drops there or do it in the inner part of the eye (by his nose) and let him blink few times

Fwiw, my ped said her eye can be closed and the drops will still go,in. Just drop in a few in each eye.
