The petals look like marshmallows cut on the diagonal. Then they are dipped in sugar crystals.
That is a great idea And a great job!

They are cookies & cream cupcakes
The petals are marshmellows dipped in colored sugar & the sunflower is a oreo cookie in the middle.. So so easy .
Ive been into the cupcake thing for some time now. I did hambuger's for fathers day & easter ones, & rubber duckies for a bridal shower. My next feat is a stiletto ,,

when u cut the marshmallow...does the color sugar stick automatically or do you have to dip the marshamallow in something first then dip it in the sugar?
and, how do you stick the petals to the cupcake?
