picture people vs. kiddie kandids

any opinions on which one is better?

my mom wants to treat us to halloween pictures!!

also, do you know what kind of halloween props kiddie kandids has? their website doesn't show any. picture people show one that would be appropriate for 3month olds-a little jack-o-latern diaper cover with a little cap.

I have only gone to Picture People. I was very happy there. It can get expensive though. Just hold your ground on how many pics you need/want.

I love KK's and only go there for my pics, you get them right away, and they have cute props! I would call them and see what props they have for halloween.


I never had a bad experience with KK and always find the people that work there to be friendly, but you do have to help them out when it comes to making your child smile....

i was happy with picture people...kiddie kandids are great too but definitely more expensive...i also think picture people are better with how they present the pictures to you, i didnt like how kiddie kandids only lets you choose off their computer the pictures that you want, i am the type of person who needs to have the actual photo in my hands! i think its great that picture people presents them to you on a table.

I am choosing picture people for both 2nd birthday pics and halloween...i think their props are better. hope this helps!

I have a been a pretty loyal PP customer for the last year or so. They offer terrific coupons, make sure you have one before you go b/c that makes a big difference. They always give you at least one free picture. KK has very nice backgrounds but they never give you anything free w/o min purchase of 6 sheets! PP i can go in every month and just take my free pic and go or if they're fantastic I use my 15% off and save a ton. also make sure if you go there that you sign up for the Portrait club you'll save a ton that way. PP is more about capturing the kid not about the background so it depends what's more important to you b/c PP will get a good pic but they don't have backgrounds other than solid color and they don't have many props.

ETA since I've been there so many times my advice is if you're going there have your DC wear something bright and colorful so that it pops agains the black or white background.

I have been to both - definitely say Kiddie Kandids. The Picture People don't have any backgrounds and there props were so old and worn out. I went to the one in the Bayshore mall and the people who worked there were horrible.

i have been to both and I prefer Picture People. It really depends on your personal preference of style. I like Picture People b/c the style is more plain. I don't really like the back drops of KK- PP has plain white and it really focuses the photo on the child..
