I love Picture People, I just wish they were cheaper. DD has done Kiddie Kandids and they were ok. One time, years ago we tried Sears, we walked away before they even took pics.

I did Sears for DD 3 month pictures - loved them!!
Went to KK pictures for DD 1st Birthday - horrible experience 
Is Picture People still around? I thought most of them closed

I went to Sears and they did a great job. I haven't tried KK, but I see a lot of ladies post great pics of their kids from there. They are super expensive though.

We still have PP here in Illinois. They did a good job, but I had to wait forever (it was the week before father's day - so busy) and I had an appt. The package i got was pricey.
ETA: I'm going to try Sears next time.

I wasn't happy with Sears, I prefer KK for backgrounds & layouts, but they are more expensive. We are trying PP this time.

I only have experience with KK. Though I am fairly pleased with the photos, I was NOT thrilled with the prices. $16.95/sheet!!! IMHO, that's a rip-off. My SIL went to JCPenney w/ her DD, their pics came out great. She recommended them to me, esp with the coupon from the website for $3.99/sheet (reg. $7.99).
I only went to KK b/c I had a free photo coupon.

PP! We only used them for Ellie's whole first year of pictures and loved them and saved so much money with the portrait club.

I've been to KK and to Sears and I prefer KK--they are a lot more expensive, though. I splurge once a year.
