picture for a locket
DH bought me a locket after DS was born. How can I make a picture small enough to fit in there? TIA

What I did was this - you know those contact sheets that you get when you have pictures printed? It's a sheet with thumbnail sized views of your photos. I cut one of those out and put it in my locket.

I usually just use the photo printing wizard that came with my computer and print out a contact sheet from that folder. You could also shrink it down in photoshop in the image sizer.

In shutterfly, you have an option of border sizes. Maybe you can do the maximum border size and preview it!

You could even put the photo into Word and resize it. Not the most efficient method, but since you are printing it, it may be the easiest. I've done that a few times. Plus, the rulers on the sides of the page give you a pretty good idea of how big the photo is.

Go with a cute not so close up photo & get a wallet size photo of it. That's what i did with my Moms locket
