Your home is beautiful! If you really don't want to spend the $ until you get what you want Home depot has paper temp shades. I think its like $10 for 3.

so much work with a 2 year old. Everytime I get ahead, its back out for a walk, or he has to pee, needs a drink, wants a different movie. its taking forever!

shades would be a great idea...but we are still very up in the air and it will be awhile before we move to a more permanent choice.

he wants roman shades, I want shutters. Its going to be whoever holds out the longest

so I kind of need a cheap finished look now.

Dark bamboo roman shades would look nice (we have them in our guest room, they let light in but neighbors can't see in from the outside):



You could also just go to IKEA and get a nice rod and hang some inexpensive panels. They have a ton that would go with your decor:

Or you could go with both the roman shade and a rod with panels.

We have shutters through the house, except in the kitchen we have shades.

I know what you mean about the night show. Window treatments was one of the 1st things we did.

we picked up bamboo shades, going to put them on tomorrow.

I think we have to add more molding to the tops and sides of windows...
