Picking up bad habits at Daycare....

Ever since Matthew started daycare, he has been picking up bad habits, such as pushing his brother. When they are eating, he will push Christopher away and say "go away". He has never done this before and doesnt do it with anyone else but his brother.
Just wondering if anyone else's DC did this?? Or is it just a phase he is going through.

It is more than likely a phase. He is at the age when kids start to get "handsy" Jaidy has taken to pulling her brother's hair as soon as I am not lookingChat Icon He will just start screaming, thankfully he knows better than to retaliate.

What I would try is to focus on what he should be doing. Saying things like we have nice hands with Christopher. At their ages they are starting to become autonomous, and with that unfortunately, comes some aggressive behavior. Chat Icon

DD isn't in daycare. But I think kids normally pick up or learn new things form other kids (especially bad ones)as they get older.
Last month(when we visited my family) DD spent lots of time with my nephews -3 and 18 months. They are very nice kids but they are little rough sometimes, take things away from each other or other kids , push each other or other kids and so on (all the things they have learned at a daycare or from other children, driving my sister crazy) When we first got there DD would just seat there and cry when toys were taken away or she was pushed. Sure enough a week or so into our visit she started taking toys from other children and pushing them.
I hope it's just a phase and she 'll stop. In the meantime I just try to "talk to her" and teach her to be nice.
