my fave was when my mom was on her last nerve with me, she's call me a daughter-of-a b(*^*&!
i'd then laugh and say, she was the b(*^*&!
but mostly it was the empty threat that she's make me "eat my teeth"

When we asked my mother why a silbing got somethine we didn't, my mother would say "Because I love him/her more."
For some reason, she liked the phrase "shake the dew from her lily" istead of saying going to the bathroom
My dad loved to say "I'll give you a reason to cry!"

My mother used to say "remember the guest go home and you will be here alone with me"
My sister used to get fresh around guest because she knew my mom wouldn't yell at her too much in front of guest but when they went home it was game on lol.
