I don't know about phones, but if you are talking about internet, it's Fios or Spectrum - what used to be Time Warner in Queens. if you are in Nassau Suffolk it's Fios or Optimum...that's it.

I'm out in Suffolk County...............we use Cablevision for internet (no Fios out here in Town of Brookhaven) and for our landline phone, we use Vonage.
