Philadelphia
I will be staying downtown for a work conference. Can anyone recommend restaurants and places to go shopping? I will have my car but I hope not to use it as I don't love to drive. What are the must see attractions other than The Liberty Bell? What would you do in Phillie if most of your days there are busy with meetings?

Re: Philadelphia
There are many good resturants in Philly, it depends on what you want.
2 that I can recommend are
Continental on market street, I believe there is another one too. It is somewhat trendy feeling, but reasonably priced. lots of small plates that you can mix and match, plus cool large salads and good drinks.
for fancy italian La Famiglia on front street. I beleive I ate at Panorama also which is owned by the same family. really killer italian food, but a bit pricey.
we ate at a few other good places but I can't remember hte names. the most unusual and "cool" was the Continental. if/when we go back to philly I'm going to try and get back to one of them as a good nite out.

Re: Philadelphia
Thanks everyone. I wanted a bunch of suggestions because I usually spend some of my time wandering alone but there are meals where we get together groups of about 20 people or so. When we have a group, everyone wants suggestions & usually the people from that general part of the country have gotten suggestions from friends.
