now i'm thinking philadelphia for this weekend! help!!! anyone know the area?
i just realized if we don't go away this weekend, we're not going anywhere until the summer because we're booked.
i'm thinking philadelphia....somewhere near the typical historical tourist attractions. i know NOTHING about the city.
can anyone recommend an area or hotel to stay at or NOT stay at? this needs to be booked like yesterday

we stayed at the omni. Down the block from the liberty bell.
we've stayed at the hyatt and a few other places, but were happiest with the omni

also, gophila site has great information about things to do.
DH and I have made trips there in which we book a hotel through hotwire, have no other plans and just figure it out when we get there.
