phantom symptoms? *update*

They spoke about these on thebump ttc boards..

Yesterday I posted that I was getting waves of nausea and was feeling a bit odd. Today I feel like my boobs are a little achy. And I've had a mild cramping feeling the past 2 days.

So I'm not looking into it too much, although it is a bit suspect.

So I ask....are these phantom symptoms I'm experiencing? Anyone else go through this during the 2WW??.

Update: so the nausea has gone away (I probably ate some weird airplane food or something) but the mild cramping isn't going away. In fact it feels a bit stronger since yesterday (Monday) and feels the same today. Feels almost strained. If and when AF shows her head it's going to be a crazy period because this cramping isn't anything like AF cramps. Hmmnnn....

awww thank you and a HUGE CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know exactly the 2 days of BDing during fertile time-If we do get a BFP, it would mean we conceived on or the day before my dads birthday (He passed away 15 years ago). Sooo for the sentimentality I'm really hoping we get the BFP. But if not, we're certainly having a blast doing the Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: phantom symptoms?

It only takes 1 sperm and the only way to know is to wait and see.

I only BD'd once in March and within 3 days after I was feeling all these weird symptoms, I do believe they wer phantom symptoms.

But in April we BD'd like 5 times around my fertile window and I wasnt really feeling anything. I found out by accident I was preggo at 10DPO and I wasn't feeling anything until I actually knew I was preggo.

Now I am 1 day shy of 5 weeks and my boobs are KILLING me, I have to sleep with a sports bra on for some support. And I am extremely exhausted. Other than that NOTHING.

So wait until about 12DPO and then let the fun begin (POAS)

Good luck

Aww not discouraging at all!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Like I said, we only Chat Icon twice during my fertile period (which we measured based on different ovulation calculators I found on the internet). Plus my cycle only just returned to normal. So I have zero expectation.

Re: phantom symptoms?

DH and I just started TTC this month, and I think I'm getting phantom symptoms already. I just O'ed a few days ago, and--starting this past Friday--every scent of food has been making me incredibly nauseous. I think it's way to early to have a symptom like that, so it's making me annoyed that I am even having that feeling. Lots of Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon your way!

Re: phantom symptoms?

You just never know....can go anyway...so stay positive.

In my case - every month the week before my period I get my sympotoms of nausea (so bad at one point it reminded me of when I was preggo - I mean at the toilet nausea but then the next month I stopped prenatals and it wasn't as bad but still there - dull achy nausea). I also get cramping. The day before my boobs hurt. I realize those are my PMS signs and I probably never paid as close attention to them as I have the last 8 mos! I do remember from my frist 2 pregnancies - feeling relatively normal before I got my BFP and then days later all the symptoms came to head - like week 5 (I always waited until I was a few days late to test).
