I dunno ladies, Im thinking that when we decide on a location, we should have it somewhere near a Dylan's Candy Bar.

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

the only ones in new york are in NYC and roosevelt field mall

i am totally down with the GTG being at the roosevelt field food court so we can go to dylan's afterward Chat Icon

Id be down for that too or even Grand Luxe or something. Though I would like to be considerate for those travelling from points East.

i'm down for any of these too! havent had a chance to go to dylans in a long time!

Re: PG GTG Sunday May 18, 2008 (UPDATE in OP)

i am in eastern nassau but i am willing to travel pretty much anywhere

there are a few places on northern 110 (broad hollow road) such as fridays and california pizza kitchen - but i am not 100% familiar with that area either

i LOVE diners and i think that is a great idea - it's definitely the long island girl in me Chat Icon that won't be a problem to find since there are several nice diners all over LI

anyone else?

Anyone ever eat at One the Border Cafe? I don't know if mexican type food is for everyone. I don't know if we want to find a place that will suit everyone, but it's a suggestion.

Re: PG GTG Sunday May 18, 2008 (UPDATE in OP)

on the border is great - but might not be for some women who suffer frm heartburn Chat Icon

i think maybe roosevelt field is too far for women in suffolk - it's in garden city closer to the north shore.

As of right now I am still in. I think a diner might be best, since there is a wide variety of food.

I am coming from Queens so as long as it isn't too far into Suffolk I will come.

i second the idea of a diner - i am going FM people to see where they are coming from so we can narrow the area down

I seriously think that after a dozen or so PG women eat Mexican food, we could feasibly cause LI to fall into the Atlantic too many years before its time. JMO. Save the planet ladies - it's for the babies.

it is on the expensive side - it would be wirth it if we were going for just cheese fondue (snack) or desssert fondue, but they are pretty pricey

plus it would be hard to do since they don't have large tables - so we might get spread out a bit
