Personal question
How long did you wait after baby before you and DH were intimate again? DH is pushing for it but I am thinking I have to wait until my 6 week follow up ..my son is only 3 weeks...............

i was waiting very impatiently at 5 weeks. he finally gave in at like 5 1/2 weeks. i wasn't feeling any pain or bleeding. it didnt hurt at all.

No episiotomy, just a small tear that was stitched, so we waited the 6 weeks, maybe even more.

with my first we waited 3 months with my second we only waited 11 days
I forgot to menton I had an episiotomy with my first a bled for 8 weeks and I didn't have an episiotomy or tear with my second and I stopped bleeding after 8 days. I felt great, the day I had my daugheter and was discharged when she was 1 day old!

I waited 5 weeks and I was happy with my decision, and so was my DH.
But I have to say I was scared but had alot of fun !!!

Wait a minute....when you say "he finally gave in" do you mean your DH or your Drs ok?????!!!!
omg my DH was so impatient, i think he got me while i was sleeping bc i found out a was PG at my 6 week checkup!!!!lol!
please BE CAREFUL unless your ready to be a mom to #2...youre very fertile right now!!!
take it from someone who knows!!!
