Personal DTD while preggo question...
maybe TMI but how do you do it in the 3rd trimester....my belly sticks out so far it's hard to do anything, it's always getting in the way, our sex life has become so limited and i feel kind of bad for DH. We were doing it 3-4 times a week until a few weeks ago now it's like maybe 2  ,he understands but we keep doing the same thing over and over again, hard to be spontaneous when all the belly does is get in the way....anyone else in my boat? I tried to do the on top thing last night because it had been so long since we did that and DH was a little creeped out because he could feel the baby...

wow... going from 3 or 4 times a week to 2! We went from going maybe 2 times a week... MAYBE to I think once in the 3rd tri. He is very understanding. Doesn't complain at all. I'll please him in other ways. I tell him I feel bad, but he understands. I'm just uncomfortable and exhausted!
We promise each other when the time is right then we'll be back to having fun. Right now I don't find it fun at all. I choose sleep over DTD right now!

We have worn that one out, it's the only way we can now. I want to, trust me i want to and DH does to, it's just the belly is always in the way We are coming up on delivery soon and that 6 week no sex phase, i was trying to get as much BD'ing as possible before that but it's not looking good, i still have another 6 weeks of belly growing...

After you have a baby, vaginal or c/s - the docs tell you to wait 6 wks before having sex again.

You cant have sex for 6 weeks after the birth for healing purposes etc.
I am only in my 2nd but my belly gets in the way too...I am sure you have tried this already but behind, sideways and missionary with him on his knees (or standing) are the only positions that are comfortable.
P.S. 3-4 times a week with one baby and one on the way ....i would say your DH is a very lucky lucky man. Im sure he would understand.

we do the scoot to the end of the bed too but you said you wore that out. we also do doggy style but go down on your elbows or lower so the angle is a little more comfortable. also you can adjust your back/butt to make the angle better, like try to arch your back in that position, helps the comfiness.
what about side by side? im not a fan but it may work nice
also try on your back but with 1 or 2 pillows under your butt

oh please...my DH hasn't had sex with me in over a month...I don't feel bad. I'm uncomfortable and cranky and occasionally he'll get something from me, but it's not sex.

Yeah, you are a saint. Hubby knows that once I reach around the 20 week mark sex is reduced to MAYBE once a month.
