perhaps I am not carrying as nicely as I thought
They say you carry a girl all over and a boy all in front, and I was all happy with myself for not getting a giant arse (yet) and whatnot. But one of the warehouse ladies at work saw me in the ladies room earlier and was like "ooh congratulations...you are having a girl, huh?" No stranger, actually it's a boy. You're ugly.

LOL don't feel too bad! i thought i was carrying pretty well myself since everyone thought i was having a boy, but i'm having a girl...the cleaning lady told me my whole body is in my arse!! i was like no that was there already...i actually think i lost in certain areas and she started laughing and was like no!

 With my son I had an old lady tell me that she was surprised I was having a boy b/c I was "big all over." This was days b/4 I gave birth.
Today I had a co worker ask me if I was sure I was only 3.5 mos along

they really don't! after it's funny but the day that lady told me i was having an awful day...and i went back to my desk and cried! it was the same day i found out i probably won't be getting my wedding photos/video...i'm part of that mess that's been on the news with the studio in ny/nj/pa!

My personal favorites are the "Are you sure there are not two in there??" or the "Ohhhhh look at the belly its really growing huh ahahahah?"
1. Ummmm if I was having twins don't you think you would know that by now!?!!?
2. I am sorry I am confused is my pregnant stomach not supposed to grow or is it supposed to be small???!?!?

LOL exactly! Another co-worker (who i've complained about before on here) tells me everyday that "I'm big now" or "i'm really showing now" or "look at you" which of course i'm pregnant and expect to gain was like WOW you really ballooned since i saw you! I saw you Friday and it's now Tuesday...you said the same thing last time for heaven sakes be quiet!!

At 6 months, I was asked if I was due any day now. I wanted to sock the azzhole.
And just last week I was asked if I was having twins. Unless she was referring to my chest, it was totally inappropriate.

People are dense.
On top of the twin comments that I've heard...a co-worker things I'm "about to go" any day now b/c I'm "so big".  I'm 20.5 weeks.
It's amazing how everyone has a different perspective...b/c I am baffled by the people who say they can't tell I'm pregnant from the front - only the side. I'm not smuggling a beach ball under my shirt, folks. So bizarre.
I keep telling DH how it doesn't bother me. Today. But there will be a day when I'm feeling awful and someone is going to say the wrong stupid thing and they're going to find their head up their azz.

I find it's usually the ones who have been through it that come out with the most insane stuff.
One coworker was aghast that I was "still wearing heels". She told me that she only wore flats when she was pregnant and advised me to "be careful" when I walk. Thanks, but I've been walking on these same 2 feet for over 34 years. I think I've got the hang of it.

I don't believe those myths. I am all belly and having a girl, was all belly with a little bit of spreadage (is that a word) with my first girl too...
i was in the airport last month and got a ton of - oh you are so having a boy! no, it's a girl! no, you look at how you carry, it's a boy! No, I assure it's a GIRL!
