I have a two month old. I did a ton of research on peds and I read rave reviews of her on here. Before DS was born, I went to one of her Saturday 'meet the doctor' things. According to LIF posters, she was 'one of the best'. I am just posting to emphatically agree and recommend her.

Dr. Elissa Rubin in Mineola is amazing. She is wonderful, just so generous with her time. When her office is closed, the calls go STRAIGHT TO HER CELL PHONE. She takes tons of time with you, listens to all your concerns, questions and provides lots of info, choices, etc. She gives out her email address, calls you back personally asap if she is in an appt when you call. Open six days a week and every other sunday. She gives 'handouts' at every visit that are remarkable, everything you need to know about the baby at each stage with tips and tricks and great stuff. She's very 'real' and is straightforward. She holds 'intro' days on Saturdays, like meet the doctor meetings. Definitely look into her if you are expecting and searching for a ped. I live in Babylon- and I go ALL the way to Mineola because she is THAT GOOD.
