Please rave about your favorite pediatrician in the Islip area
I'm looking for an awesome doctor for my August baby - and one who will help me get through first time parenthood. Great bedside manner a must! I want this doctor to be one we think of fondly for the rest of our lives - like I did with my doc growing up.
Would love:
separate sick room
In office blood work
Ease of appointments
Friendly, professional and competent staff
Up to date, knowledge wise
Flexibility on vaccine timetable as it relates to fears of autism (whether proven or not)
I always find "user reviews" are the best, so I came to the parenting board to find anyone who wants to rave about their doc! Thanks!

Is west islip too far? I use Dr. Mariwalla.. To me they have everything on your list. New born blood work to check jaundice levels was done across the street at good sam (don't really know why) but 1 year blood work they did in the office.

I use dr.George, Matthew, fiumano. This is the 3rd practice I've been to and by far are the best. They are all wonderful. I tend to like George the best. They do not do blood in office but as a nurse I wouldn't be comfy with in office blood draw ( personal preference) is rather take dd's to good Sam lab. I cannot say enough great things about them

We also use Dr. George & Fiumano, love love them! Highly recommend.

Dr. Woletsky and everyone else in the office. Love them all. They are across from good Sam in West Islip
