Pediatrcian Recommendations - HELP please!!
DH and I are expecting our first baby in Sept. and we are looking to find a pediatrician in the Stony Brook area.
We have heard that Branch Pediatrics in Smithtown is good as is Mid Suffolk Pediatrics in Mt. Sinai. Any information on those practices is appreciated as is any other peds you may know of in the area. THANK YOU!!!

I used Mid Suffolk. I recently switched practices since I moved. I have only seen the NP, Tracy Manners, whom I adore. She is wonderful with my children. I don't like how they weight and measure the kids but it really isn't that big of a deal - just a little inconvenient.

I use Mid Suffolk in Islandia and they are great. Dr Lasner came to the hospital every day when I was in there with DD and was great!!! I heard their Mt Sinai office is good as well.

I had Nataloni when I was a kid, and I LOVED her. I dont think she was taking new patiesnt when I had DD because when I called thats what I was told.
So I went with Dr Forletti because he was also a ped. that I had for a surgery when I was younger. I ended up switching just because of mommy instincts to Mid Suffolk.. we see Dr Berman there and love him!!

We use Mid Suffolk in Mt. Sinai and love it there. We switched from another practice in port jeff and couldn't be happier. We usually see Dr. Manners who we absolutely adore. We've also seen a few others for sick visits and were very pleased with everyone there.

closer to home by far the best pediatricians I know...
Dr Rubin and Dr Benitt on Hallock Road in Stony Brook - they are a husband wife team we have used for over 10 years. The best.
