One of the girls brought the Ghiradelli Pecan Pie to book club and OMG! Pecan is one of my favorites and this was out of this world.

I think i will also try the pioneer receipe....i'm not a big chocolate fan..so the i couldn't apreciate the other one.
Just one question..why does the pioneer recipe have you put the pecans on the bottom??? Do they rise up?

yeahp, she said to make sure you used chops not halves because the halves are too heavy and wont rise
