What tests were done to determine if you have PCOS?

Re: PCOS
the blood tests are also done with a sono usually. if you have borderline blood but cystic ovaries that can also get you the dx even if hormone levels seem ok.

That is what happened to me. My blood tests were normal, but my sono showed lots of cysts. If you think there is ANY chance that you have PCOS do NOT just let them leave it at the blood tests. My dr. did not want to do a sono and I pushed it and that's how we found out. Good Luck!

Re: PCOS
basically all of the above, there is no one test you can take to receive that diagnosis, although i wish there was. usually bloodwork, sono and other tests cane be done to help come to this conclusion
